NUM-About Us

The Faculty of Tourism

was established in 1998, initially known as the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, and has its first curriculum, Tourism and Hospitality. In 2023, the name was changed to the Faculty of Tourism. Currently, The Faculty offers two bachelor's degrees: Tourism Management and Hospitality Management. Graduates are prepared for careers in public and private sectors including the Ministry of Tourism, airlines, companies, travel agencies, hotels, and restaurants, specializing as event organizers, Tourism Development Officers, and Hospitality Consultants. The sectors of tourism and hospitality are pivotal for economic growth and job creation, demanding increasingly complex managerial skills. Our curriculum ensures students acquire the knowledge and skills needed for significant employment opportunities in hotels, transportation, resorts, tourism consultancy, government agencies, destination management organizations, and corporate travel sectors.
